Asset Management
eQ offers services related to mutual and private equity funds, discretionary asset management, structured investment products, portfolio bonds and a wide range of mutual funds managed by our global partners.At the end of 2018, the assets managed by the Group totalled EUR 9,5 billion. Measured by assets under management, eQ is the one of the largest asset managers in Finland independent of bank groups.
Corporate Finance
eQ’s corporate finance services are offered by eQ Plc’s subsidiary Advium Corporate Finance Ltd. The services cover mergers and acquisitions and real estate transactions and financial advisory services in general.Since the establishment in 2000 Advium has advised on some 200 completed transactions with a cumulative value exceeding EUR 15 billion.
Investments
The business operations of the Investments segment consist of private equity fund investments made from the own balance sheet of eQ Group. eQ’s aim is to achieve an average return on private equity investments in excess of the equity market return.
The aggregate return of private equity investments from the beginning of investment operations has been about 20% p.a. (IRR). eQ only makes new investments in funds managed by eQ.
