Northern European Properties Ltd has sold a portfolio consisting of 39 hotels for EUR 805 million to a Capman’s newly established fund, Capman Hotels Re Ltd, which invests in hotel properties. The transaction represents one of the biggest real estate transactions in Finland. Northern European Properties Ltd, which sold the hotel portfolio, is listed on AIM, a market of the London Stock Exchange and on Euronext Amsterdam. The company sold its hotel portfolio in order to focus on real estate investments in Russia and Baltic countries.
